A Helpful Girl

Hi! My name is Kate. I am nine years old. I am a helpful girl at home. I like to help my mum with the housework. I can cook meals, wash the clothes and clean my bedroom.
One day, Mum is cooking in the kitchen. She says to me, "Kate! I want some clean cups. Can you wash them?" "Sure, Mum." I carry the cups and put them into the sink. I wash them one by one, then put them on the table. But I drop a cup on the floor. "Oh, Mum!" I say. "I'm sorry." "That's all right. Just be careful!" Mum says. I pick up the pieces of the cup. Mum brings the food to the table. It's time for dinner.
