In the past, lords and princesses lived here. Next to one of a lord's houses was a well(井). One year, there was very little r. Many people had no water to drink. However, the lord's well still had lots of clean water.
This lord wasn't a kind man. He didn't want to give water from his well to anyone. He asked an old man to stand in front of the well and s people taking water. However, the old man was very kind. He always gave water to poor (贫穷的) people.
