(
A
)5.—Tom, you've lived in Shenzhen for 5 years. What do you think of the changes in Shenzhen?
They're amazing!
There are more tall buildings and beautiful parks than before.

A.They're amazing!
B.It has developed a lot.
C.I like the people.
D.Don't worry.

答案

故选A。

A. They're amazing!
B. It has developed a lot.
C. I like the people.
D. Don't worry.
A

1. words 2. travelled 3. fresher 4. a 5. by/beside 6. but 7. our 8. recently 9. Slowly 10. angles

On Wednesday, the People's Liberation Army of China(PLA,中国人民解放军)showed all five types of its newest fifth-generation fighter jets for the first time in a big military parade(阅兵)in Beijing. This was to mark the 80th anniversary(周年纪念日)of the victory(胜利)in the Chinese People's War of Resistance(反抗) Against Japanese Aggression(侵略) and the World Anti-Fascist(反法西斯)War.

The planes—the J-20, J-20A, J-20S, J-35A from the Air Force, and the Navy's J-35—flew over Tian'anmen Square in formation. The parade lasted about 70 minutes.
This was the first public appearance of the J-20S(the world's only twin-seat stealth fighter), the J-20A(an improved J-20 with a more powerful engine), and the J-35(the Navy's first stealth fighter).
Fu Qianshao, an aircraft researcher, said the J-20S has two seats: one for the pilot and the other for an operator who controls electronic equipment or helps with attacks.
The J-20A has a bigger spine, a new nose, and better air intakes for its new engine. This engine is more powerful and helps the plane fly better.
The J-35A is another new stealth fighter. It can control the sky and attack land or sea targets.
Wang Mingzhi, an Air Force researcher, said the J-20 series and J-35A will work together in future battles.
The Air Force also showed a new version of the Y-20 transport plane—the Y-20B. It has new Chinese-made engines that are stronger and use less fuel. This allows the PLA to carry supplies farther than before.
Several new combat drones(无人机)were also shown in the parade. This suggests the Air Force may use more drones in the future.
Wu Peixin, an aviation industry observer(观察家), said many countries are now using stealth fighters together with drones. "Stealth jets are expensive and advanced, while drones are cheaper. In battle, a pilot can guide drones to attack targets without taking big risks," he said. This new way of fighting could change air combat in the future.

答案

B 【点拨】根据第一段中“This was to mark the 80th anniversary(周年纪念日) of the victory(胜利) in the Chinese People's War of Resistance(反抗) Against Japanese Aggression(侵略) and the World Anti-Fascist(反法西斯) War.”
2. D 【点拨】根据第三段中“the J-20A(an improved J-20 with a more powerful engine)”和第五段中“The J-20A has a bigger spine, a new nose, and better air intakes for its new engine.”
