I'm Mingming. I'm from the Dai ethnic group(傣族）in Yunnan. Do you know the Water Splashing Festival? It is one of the most important events for the Dai people. It is in April(四月）every year. My school celebrates this event every year with lots of activities.
We wear colourful Dai ethnic costumes and splash each other. It's so exciting and we have a lot of fun. Water is a symbol of good wishes，so we all want to get wet!
And we watch an elephant-foot drum dance performance(象脚鼓舞表演）. The Dai people love the elephant-foot drum dance very much. It is a national intangible cultural heritage(国家级非物质文化遗产）. We also eat some yummy food.
