Hongyadong scenic area is one of the most famous landmarks (地标) in Chongqing. It is a group of stilted houses (吊脚楼) with Bayu culture along the Jialing River.

There are 13 floors in the area. You can experience the Bayu culture while shopping, eating and playing.

It's the best place to get a view of the Jiefangbei and the Jialing River. It allows 1,000 visitors to enjoy views at the same time. At night, the lights on the buildings make us feel like going back to ancient times. If you want to catch the beautiful night view of Hongyadong, you have to take a boat on the Jialing River or go to the other side of the river.

Now, Hongyadong is really popular in China. Tens of thousands of visitors go there every day, especially during holidays.
