Hi David,
This Friday, my mum takes me to Guilin. We get to Guilin early in the morning and have a good time there.
We see one of Guilin's most famous places, Elephant Trunk Hill(象鼻山). It looks like an elephant putting its nose into the Li River. I take a river trip on a bamboo boat.
Then we go to Yangshuo and eat some delicious food like rice noodles, fish and duck. I love the rice noodles. Every day, I have them for breakfast. Then we visit a karst cave(喀斯特溶洞). I hope to see some animals but I don't.
The most wonderful thing about this trip is mountain climbing. ▲ So we put on a harness (保护带) before we start climbing the mountain. I'm afraid of falling down. Mum keeps staying with me and we finally get to the top! We shout(呼喊) and jump up and down.
We plan to go back next Monday evening. I buy you some postcards. Hope you like them.
