Duck looks for a new home. She comes over to a park
and sees a pond. "That looks nice!"

But the pond is next to a
big playground. "Oh, dear!"
Children run up and down.
They play football. "Pass the
ball!" They run and jump.
They climb and swing.
Some boys play basketball. Duck swims in the pond. A
boy throws the ball. SPLASH!
Duck is not happy. "Quack!" The boy comes to get his
ball. Duck hides in the water. But the boy sees her.

The next day, the boy and his friends come to the pond
again. But they don't come to play. They come to feed the
duck. "I think I like it here! Quack!"
