Putting the finishing touch to a loong (龙)

In the Southern and Northern Dynasties(南北朝), there is a painter(画家)called Zhang Sengyao.
One day, he paints four loong on the wall of a temple(寺庙), but he does not draw them any eyes. Someone asks, “How come?”
He says, “Eyes are the key parts for loong. With the eyes, the loong will fly away.”
Nobody believes(相信)this, so Zhang Sengyao draws eyes for two of the loong. The two loong come to life and fly into the sky.
