Wuhan:The Busy and Modern City
Wuhan is the capital of Hubei. It mixes old culture and new technology. In 2025, the Yangtze River Culture and Arts Season was held in Wuhan. A lot of people came to join it. They watched beautiful light shows on the Yangtze River Bridge, enjoyed traditional Chu shows and tasted local food like hot dry noodles. Young people also went to the 5G tech show in Optics Valley. It shows Wuhan is great at integrating both culture and technology.
Yichang:The Beautiful Scenic City
Yichang is famous as the "Gateway to the Three Gorges". In summer 2025, the Yangtze River Three Gorges International Tourism Festival brought many visitors. People took boats to see the famous Three Gorges Dam, the world's biggest hydro-power(水电）project. Local musicians gave folk music shows by the Yangtze River. Many visitors also went to Qu Yuan Temple to remember the great ancient poet.
Xiangyang:The Old Historical City
Xiangyang has a history of over 2,800 years. In September 2025,it held many cultural activities. People watched old battle shows on the city wall,visited calligraphy shows and tried traditional tea. Visitors could wear Hanfu(ancient Chinese clothes) and learn to make paper-cuts. These activities show Xiangyang's important role in ancient Chinese history and culture.
Huangshi:The Industrial and Cultural City
Huangshi has a long industrial history and rich culture. Geoscience Popularization Conference was held at Huangshi Mineral Expo Park from 24 November to 27 November,2023. People visited old mines(矿）and saw old mining tools in shows. They also joined stone-carving workshops and local craft fairs. Besides,there were outdoor music shows in lakeside parks. These activities show Huangshi's special mix of old industry and new culture.
