My favourite gift
I have received a lot of gifts in my life. But the one I love most is an old album which is put in my bedside cupboard. It was a gift from my friend Jane.
When I was nine years old, I moved to another city with my family because of my father's job. It was a totally new city for me. So when I was at the new school, I knew nobody and I was very lonely. Jane was the first girl who came to help me and made friends with me. She not only helped me with my study, but also showed me the interesting places about the city. I really had a good time with her.
About one year later, my father had to move to another city to work, so I had to leave, too. Before we left the city, she sent me the album with some photos of us inside. I was deeply moved. When I am free now, I always look at the photo in the album, because it is the sweetest memory in my life.
