Two Amazing Farms
There are many amazing farms around the world. Some are traditional and friendly. Some are modern and smart. Let's look at two of them.
Sweven Farm in Australia is home to lots of cute animals! Farmers raise sheep, cattle and alpacas. You might even see wild kangaroos there! Everyone is welcome on the farm. You can watch sheep shearing-a farmer cuts the soft wool from the sheep, just like giving it a haircut! You can also take a walk or ride a horse. What a fun place to go!
Kimberly Farm in the USA grows corn and soybeans. It's as big as 285 football fields, but only four people work there! How do they do that? They have smart machines! The smart tractors with GPS help with watering and planting! Farmers put the corn and soybeans in the smart grain bins. They can use their phones to keep the bins warm or cool.
As we can see, farms give us food, clothes, and fun. Both traditional and modern farms help us in their own ways.
