Dear David,
I'm glad to hear that you will put on a story show with your classmates. My favorite story is *The Tortoise and the Hare*, and it is very popular with students around the world. I think it is a perfect choice for your performance.
The story is about a running race between a rabbit and a tortoise. The rabbit is sure he will win because he runs much faster than the tortoise. So he stops to rest and even falls asleep halfway to the finish line. But the slow tortoise never gives up, he keeps moving on step by step all the time. Finally, the tortoise gets to the end first before the rabbit wakes up.
This story tells us we can never be proud and stop working hard. Only if we keep trying, we can get success in the end. It is also very easy for you and your classmates to act it out. I believe your show will be wonderful!
