On 5th June, 1972, the United Nations held its first meeting of the Human Environment(人类环境会议). Then we have World Environment Day. Everyone should protect the environment. Here are some tips.

First, buy green things. Be a green consumer.
Second, refuse to use disposable chopsticks and cups.
Third, refuse to buy anything made of endangered species.
Fourth, refuse to use things made of precious wood and give animals a safe home.
Fifth, refuse to waste paper. Use paper on both sides.
Sixth, turn off the lights and save energy.
Seventh, try to take the bus or walk or ride a bicycle.
