One day, a pilot crashes in the desert and meets a little prince from another planet. They talk under the stars.
"Excuse me, could you draw me a sheep?" asks the little prince politely.
The pilot is surprised. "A sheep? Why do you need one?" he asks.
"I live on a small planet with bad weeds. I need a sheep to eat them," replies the little prince, pointing to the sky.
The pilot draws a big sheep, but the little prince shakes his head.
"No, that's too big. It will take up all my planet."
The pilot draws a small sheep.
"No, this one is too thin. It might die easily."
Tired, the pilot draws a box and hands it to the little prince.
"The sheep is inside. It's good, not greedy, and safe," he says.
The little prince's eyes light up. He takes the box and smiles.
"Perfect! This is just what I want! Does it need to eat grass every day?"
"Yes, it does. You must take good care of it," says the pilot gently.
"I will. I also take care of a rose on my planet," the little prince says softly.
"A rose?"
"Yes. She's beautiful but proud. She thinks she's the most special flower."
The pilot nods. "I see. Taking care of someone makes them special."
That night, they sit under the stars again. The little prince whispers to the box.
"Good night, my little sheep. I will come to see you tomorrow."
The pilot smiles and says, "Good night, little prince."
Before sleeping, the little prince asks one last question.
"If I leave, will you remember me?"
"Of course. You're my friend, and friends are hard to forget."
