One night, the moon was very bright. Rabbit was resting near a pond. He was tired and wanted to go to sleep, but he was worried that the tiger was going to eat him up. Rabbit tried hard to stay awake. But he was too sleepy and he fell asleep at last.
Suddenly, a loud voice woke him up. It was Tiger! Rabbit was frightened, but he had an idea. He looked in the water and saw the reflection(映像)of the moon. It looked like a big piece of cheese. Rabbit moved his mouth and said, “Mmm, yum yum yum. Ah, Tiger. Come and share this delicious white cheese with me.”
Tiger loved white cheese. He asked Rabbit how to get the cheese out of the pond. “Easy,” said Rabbit. “I tie this stone around my foot and jump in. Do you want to try?”
Tiger tied the stone around his foot and jumped into the water. Then Rabbit ran away quickly.
