Grand Canyon(大峡谷)National Park is one of the most popular parks in the United States. Every year, around 5.5 million people go to see the Grand Canyon. It is often considered one of the natural wonders of the world.
The "South Rim"
Most visitors see the Grand Canyon from the "South Rim". The "South Rim" is open all year round. It includes Grand Canyon Village, Hermit Road(west of the village)and Desert View Drive(east of the village).
The "North Rim"
A much smaller number of people see the canyon from the "North Rim" of the park. The "North Rim" has a short season. During winter months, all roads are closed to visitors. Even in good weather, the "North Rim" is hard to get to.
Costs and passes
A ticket to Grand Canyon National Park is for seven days and includes both the "South Rim" and the "North Rim".
