A DIY bookmark for my favourite book
Last week I took part in our school’s Reading & Bookmark-Making activity. My favourite book is Journey to the West. It’s a fantasy novel and I like the clever Monkey King best. I made a bookmark to help me enjoy reading this book.
I prepared some materials and tools like a card, scissors and glue. First, I cut the card into a long strip. Then, I drew a picture of the Monkey King on it. After that, I wrote my favourite sentence from the book, “Tough journey, but we must keep going.” Finally, I decorated it with some colourful stickers.
I felt really proud of my hand-made bookmark. It not only helps me mark the pages but also inspires me to be as brave as the Monkey King.
