1. 观察play、visit、cook、turn的过去式，均在词尾加ed，所以一般情况下直接加ed。

3. stop、plan、shop是重读闭音节且末尾只有一个辅音字母，过去式双写末尾辅音字母加ed，所以双写该辅音字母再加ed。
4. try、study、worry、carry以辅音字母加y结尾，过去式变y为i加ed，所以变y为i再加ed。
5. 不规则动词过去式需记忆：am/is的过去式是was；are的过去式是were；do的过去式是did；feel的过去式是felt；get的过去式是got；give的过去式是gave；go的过去式是went；have的过去式是had；lose的过去式是lost；meet的过去式是met；see的过去式是saw；take的过去式是took；teach的过去式是taught；tell的过去式是told；think的过去式是thought。
