I think Mrs Jiang is the best neighbour because she’s always ready to help others. Last week, a watermelon farmer tried to sell watermelons at the gate of our community. Mrs Jiang wanted to help the farmer and bought all his watermelons. Then, Mrs Jiang gave away all the watermelons to her neighbours so they wouldn’t go bad. Mrs Jiang helped the farmer, and we got a taste of the sweet watermelons!

In my opinion, David is the best neighbour because he’s always kind. I drive a big car, but our community’s underground car park has small parking spaces. David’s parking space is next to my space, and he has a smaller car than mine. David always parks his car close to the wall, so I can have more space for my car. He’s really helpful, and that is why I choose him.

Eric is the best neighbour of the year because he really cares about others. One morning before I went to work, I hung my clothes on the balcony. It started to rain in the afternoon, and I couldn’t go back home to put the clothes away. But when I got home, my clothes were dry. Eric lives above me, and he put up umbrellas on his balcony so my clothes wouldn’t get wet. How kind of him!
