The topic of my speech today is “Learn to express thanks”.
Nowadays some students consider it natural to eat well and wear fashionable clothes. They think it is their parents' duty to provide a happy life for them. They don't show any gratitude.
I don't think it is right. It's our parents who take good care of us and love us very much. In addition, we are supposed to be thankful to our teachers for teaching us so much knowledge. What's more, we should say thanks to our friends because they share joy with us and give us courage to overcome many difficulties.
In my opinion, it's time for us to learn to express thanks to them. First of all, we should be polite to our parents and teachers. Besides, we should try our best to help others when they are in trouble. Last but not least, we must study hard to make a great contribution to our country in the future. And only in this way can we better reward our parents, teachers, friends and so on.
