[人与社会·包容与宽容] Lucas is a nine-year-old boy. He has a big family, but he doesn’t think his family life is happy.
Lucas and his brother and sister often fight with each other for many reasons. Those fights really affect his daily life. However, he doesn’t know what to do.
Max is Lucas’s classmate. He also has a big family, but Max never fights with his two smiling brothers. They always have big smiles on their faces. Lucas thinks that is strange.
One day, Lucas asked Max why he and his brothers could get on well with each other. Max smiled and asked Lucas to go home with him. As they entered the house, Max’s elder brother saw them. “Hi, Lucas and Max,” he said, “why not come here and share some ice cream with me?” At that time, Max’s younger brother came out of his room. When he saw Max, he looked very excited and said, “Oh, Max. I have a story to tell you. It’s interesting!”
Max’s happy life touched Lucas so much. After thinking for a while, he understood that Max’s secret of having a good relationship with his brothers was to share. Sharing interesting things with your family members in daily life can make not only them but also yourself happy.
