Liu Lingli has been a teacher for children with hearing problems for 33 years. With her help, some of her students have received higher education.
Liu was born in Hunan Province, in 1973. And the first deaf person she met was her neighbour, Mrs Wang. One day when Liu was playing in her neighbour's house, Mrs Wang used sign language to communicate with her. But Liu could not understand.
