Amy is my classmate. She is not scared(害怕)when we go rock climbing for the first time. She is OK when everyone is scared to see a snake(蛇)in the classroom. Amy is a girl with guts. I wish I could be like her.
“Lily，can you come to my house this weekend?” Amy asks me. I am happy but a little scared. I never have a weekend away from my home. But Doctor Jiang encourages(鼓励)me to have a try.
Amy's house is near a hill. On Saturday afternoon，we climb the hill and pick fruit. On the way back，we see a beautiful butterfly and run after it into a cornfield(玉米地). All the corn plants are very tall. We walk and walk but can't get out. “Lily，we are lost(迷路的). I'm scared，” says Amy. Amy is scared? I can't believe my ears. “Don't be scared，” I say. Then I have an idea. We start to go straight between two rows(一排)of corn and walk on and on.
At last，we are out of the cornfield. We jump up happily. “Lily，you are a girl with guts! You help us out!” says Amy. Maybe Amy is right. I am a girl with guts now.
