People in different countries have different Internet habits. In fact, people are spending more and more time online these days. The latest research shows how much time people spend online. It says people spend an average (平均) of six hours and forty - two minutes a day online.
According to the result of the research, people in Philippines use the Internet the most. They spent an average of 10 hours and 2 minutes a day online last year. Brazil came in second, with 9 hours and 29 minutes, followed by Thailand, Colombia and Indonesia. The Japanese spend the least time on the Internet.
There are many reasons for these high numbers. Sonia Livingstone, a professor at London School for Economics, said, “More people work online. More and more jobs, like driving for Uber, need the use of an app.”
