Our School

This is an interesting world. My grandfather and I are schoolmates. My grandfather graduated from the school 57 years ago. He shows me lots of pictures of his school in his album.
It was a small school with an old gate. There was only one house in the school. All the students studied there, slept there, and played there. Without enough classrooms, students from different grades studied in the same room. Some students had to sit on the floor and shared one book. Without a playground, they chased each other in the field. Without a swimming pool, they swam in a big river. It was a happy time for Grandpa and his classmates.
It is much different now. The school is bigger than it was before. More and more kids come to study here. We have a big playground, a big swimming pool, a big gym and many big classrooms. Students learn many different kinds of subjects—Chinese, maths, English, science, PE and so on. Every day, different teachers come to our class to give different classes. We are happy. It is my school. No, it is our school.
