Kate, Jenny, Larry and Eric are classmates. It's Monday morning. They are on the way to school.
Kate: Did you have a good weekend?
Jenny: Yes, I did. But I feel a little tired today.
Kate: Really? Why?
Jenny: Well, on Saturday I did my homework. Then I cleaned my room and washed my clothes. And then I visited my grandparents.
Kate: So what did you do on Sunday?
Jenny: I studied all day.
Kate: Oh, no! Do we have a test today? I didn't study. I invited friends to my house. We watched TV and played games all the weekend.
Larry: So, did you go out with Sam last weekend?
Eric: Yes, I did. We went out on Saturday afternoon. We went to the movies.
Larry: Did you like it?
Eric: I liked it a lot. But Sam didn't.
Larry: Oh, well. Did you do anything else?
Eric: Yeah. We had dinner at a restaurant. On Sunday, Sam and I went boating in the park.
Larry: Did you have fun?
Eric: Yes, we did. We met many interesting people. We had a great time. And we're going to go out again next weekend.
