Fifteen boys and sixteen girls worked together to make a great relief (浮雕) painting. It is a copy (复制品) of the famous painting “A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains” (《千里江山图》) by Wang Ximeng. The students made the painting on the walls of their art room. It is 3.5 metres high and 11 metres long. It took them 129 days to finish (完成) it.
The students are from a high school in Changchun, Jilin Province. Their teacher, Duan Yingzi, helped them with it. She thinks that it is a good way to get students more interested in Chinese painting.
