Snowy
I'm Sandy. I come from Hawaii. But now I'm living in Beijing. I love the winter here. There are two reasons for that.
First, Spring Festival, a traditional(传统的) Chinese festival comes in winter. And it's one of the most important festivals in China. Families have a happy time together. On Chinese New Year's Eve, families often have a delicious big dinner and watch TV. People send best wishes to each other. Children get red packets from the elders. The world is full of happiness and love.
Second, here we can see snow in winter. It's snowing today. It is the first time for me to see the snow. When it snows, everything is covered with white snow. The whole world looks beautiful and peaceful. Children usually go outside to play in the snow. Some make snowmen, and others have snowball fights. They laugh and shout. They are so happy.
I'm so glad to experience(经历) Beijing's winter. It's totally different from Hawaii's warm weather, and I love it!
