I have read a great book called The Adventures of Tom Sawyer 1. It is about a boy, Tom Sawyer, who lives with his Aunt Polly by the Mississippi River in America. His Aunt likes to 2 him, and they don't have a good relationship. Although Tom is clever, he gets into trouble and plays games instead of going to school. Tom has a good friend, Huck Finn, and he likes Becky, a local beauty, but she does not like him.
One night Tom goes to the graveyard (墓地) with his friend Huck. They think it will be fun to be in a graveyard at night but they see something terrible instead. A man, Injun Joe, 3 and kills the local doctor. Tom and Huck are very scared and run home. They don't know if Injun Joe see them or not.
The next day everyone thinks Muff Potter, Injun Joe's friend, is the murderer (凶手). The boys quickly tell everyone Injun Joe is the murderer, not Muff Potter, but Injun Joe has 4 run away.
Tom is a local hero for helping Muff Potter, so Becky likes him now. They take a romantic (浪漫的) walk together but 5 in a cave (洞穴). There, they see Injun Joe hiding and they are scared that Injun Joe might find them and kill them.
I won't tell you what happens next because it's very exciting and should be a surprise! I love this book because it shows how people are actually good inside, even though they seem bad, while other people may seem good, but are actually bad. It's also about friendship and 6. I love the ending too, but you'll have to read the book to find out what happens!
