What is happening to our world? Some people are wasting energy and
polluting the Earth. It's not good for our planet.
My family and I want to do something, so we start our own fruit and vegetable
garden and decide to grow plants organically(有机地). It means we only
use natural ways to look after them. (A) To have an organic garden is clearly a
healthier choice because the fruit and vegetables in our garden are very safe.
To make our garden, we work very hard. We use a large wooden box. We
clean it and make holes at its bottom for the water to go out. We cover the
holes with little stones and soil(土壤). Then we plant little plants and water
them every day. (B) We plant tomatoes, carrots and potatoes, and they are
some strawberries on the right. We can pick our first fruit and vegetables in a
month. How happy we will be at that time!
