My hometown is on the Qingzang Plateau, a place with amazing geography. It is famous for having the world's highest mountain, but it is also full of the most wonderful colours in nature.
When you look around, the colour white is everywhere. The clouds are clean and soft, just like the white sheep on our grasslands. The snow-covered mountains shine brightly in the sun, looking like white lotus flowers. In winter, children play in the snow, and everything looks pure and peaceful.
Above us, there is always the lovely blue sky. It gives me a calm and happy feeling, like a great sea over the plateau. On sunny days, the sky is light blue, and on clear nights, it turns deep blue with many stars.
What I love most is the colour green. Our grasslands, forests and fields are all green. It is the colour of life and hope. Now, green is not only in nature — modern trains that run across the plateau are also painted green. They bring people and goods to different places and help my hometown grow.
The plateau is much quieter than big cities. We may have fewer shops and restaurants, but we have the best gifts from nature. The air is fresh, the water is clean, and people live a simple and happy life. Every season here has its own beauty.
In my heart, there is no other place better than my hometown. I am truly proud to say that I come from one of the most beautiful places in the world.
