Today is a special day. It's Emily's first day of school.
Emily's friends are on their way to school too. "Hi, Charlie! Hi, Hannah!" says Emily.


"Here we are!" says Emily's mother. "Have a good day!"
Miss Daisy is waiting at the door. "Good morning," she says. "Welcome to school."

"Can you find your cubbies?" asks Miss Daisy.

"Everyone can make a picture," says Miss Daisy. Emily loves to paint.

There's something fun for everyone to do at playtime.

It's time for lunch. What do Emily and her friends have?

"I see my name," says Emily.

"I made this for my mum," says Emily. "I made this for my grandpa," says Hannah.

"Look at me!" says Emily.

At story time, Emily helps turn the pages.


Then Miss Daisy plays her guitar. Emily bangs the drum.
The first day of school is over. "Goodbye," says Miss Daisy. "See you tomorrow!"
