三、阅读短文,回答问题
A team of women have become famous recently. There are nine retired (退休的) women in this team and they are from the Shipingcun community. They take care of 25 students in the community. These women are kindly called “shared grannies”. Some working parents don't have time or friends to pick up their children, so they need shared grannies very much.
Deng Lihong, 66, is a member of the team. She joined the team as soon as she saw the advertisement (广告). Every workday, she picks up the children from school at 3 p.m. and looks after them until their parents come.
After taking part in the activity, Deng said, “I feel young with the kids and my retired life becomes happy.” She tells us that the programme started in April and more and more people want to join in. A parent said, “I think other parts of the country should also carry out this activity.”
“We encourage the retired women to take part in this public service (服务). It's good for the families in need and helps retired women feel less lonely (孤单). The sense of happiness means a lot to them,” Peng Mei said.
