Many deaths from fires are the result of burns and panic (恐慌), but most are caused by deadly smoke and gases. So it’s very important for us to make escape plans in case it happens to us. What should we do if we come across a fire? The following fire rules may help us to escape to safety.
Fire rules:
● Make sure you know the location of the fire exit nearest to you.
● Call 119 immediately.
● Find any windows and doors.
● Do not use the lift.
● Cover your mouth with wet towels and run as quickly as possible.
● Stay low and go along the ground.
● When you hear the fire engine outside, open your window, wave and shout.
