The Yellow River is one of the most amazing rivers in China. It is about 5,500
kilometres long. It rises from the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and runs through nine provinces
to the Bohai Sea.
The water of the Yellow River is fresh water, so everybody can drink it and use it for
farming and washing. It is also home to hundreds of thousands of living things. Some
special types of fish can only survive in this river. The landscape along the river is very
beautiful. People can take a boat trip and enjoy the nice views along the river.
The Yellow River is China's mother river. We should try our best to protect it.
