Last Friday morning, my mum took me to visit Yan’an. We had a good time there.
We went to see Yangjialing Revolutionary Site because it’s a special place for every Chinese. Many important things happened there in our country’s history.
We could see many old buildings there. They show us how people lived and worked a long time ago. Mum said, “When drinking water, one should never forget those who dug the well（挖井）. We cannot help but think of those great men. We should remember our history.”
My favourite part was going to the museum. There were pictures and videos. They showed us more about Yangjialing and the wars, the leaders（领导人）, and the hope for a better future.
I was tired but happy that day. I feel lucky to live in a safe country. And I can’t wait to tell my friends all about my trip.
