They can be up to 600 miles across and have strong winds at a speed of 300 km/h.",可知飓风的风速最高可达每小时300千米,km是kilometre的缩写,对应选项D。
When they come, the heavy rain, strong winds and large waves can damage buildings, trees and cars.",可知强风暴会带来强风和暴雨,选项C符合原文内容,低温、阳光、大雾均未在文中提及,排除A、B、D。
Make sure that your house is safe by closing your doors and windows.",说明风暴来临需要关紧门窗,不能打开门窗,对应选项B。
If the storm dies down, do not go outside because the winds may pick up again.",说明风暴减弱时也不能外出,D选项表述错误。
0.8
