When it comes to helping develop village education(教育), the first thing most people think of is to give away things like books, clothes and money. However, Hou Changliang doesn't think so. Yang Feifan, a volunteer teacher at a village school in Guangxi, shared the same opinion as Hou. He said, "Once we received a lot of donations(捐赠) from across the country. But I didn't want the students to get something without giving, so I came up with an idea to open a supermarket selling these donations."
"Students can get things by cleaning classrooms, cooking or helping others," Yang said. "I believe a good education can help students learn life skills and become responsible(负责任的) people."
