B A future scare

Kurt's teacher was angry with him.

"Kurt! Yesterday,you turned on all the water taps. You left the lights on. You threw away all the paper towels! Don't you care for the environment?"
"Not really," said Kurt.
"You should care because it's your future! Sit here and think about it." And the teacher left. Kurt did not want to think. He was bored. He looked around the classroom. Under his teacher's desk,he found a box with a red button on it. He pushed it.
KAZOOOOM! Kurt was 30 years into the future! The box was a time machine! Kurt saw a sad woman. She was dirty because there was no clean water. Her baby cried because it was thirsty. Kurt did not like this,so he pushed the button.
KAZOOOOM! Now he was 60 years into the future! There was an old man. He was using a candle. It was very dark because there was no electricity. Kurt was afraid,so he pushed the button again.
KAZOOOOM! It was 100 years later in the future! There were no living things. Kurt was terrified! He pushed the button many times.
KAZOOOOM! Kurt was back in his classroom. Then,the teacher came in.
"Well,are you sorry for what you did?"
"Yes!" Kurt shouted. "I'll protect the environment."

“是的！”库尔特喊道，“我会保护环境的。”
