One day, an old man
walks into a restaurant. He

sits at his usual table and
orders his usual soup. The
waiter puts the soup in front
of him and stands back to
watch him enjoy it. But the
man just sits there.
"Is there anything wrong?" the waiter asks.
"I can't eat this soup," the man answers.
"Is it too hot?" the waiter asks.
"No."
"Too cold?"
"No."
"Too salty?"
"No."
The waiter calls for the chef. The chef asks the same
questions, "Too hot? Too cold? Too salty?"
"No, no, no," the old man answers.
Finally, the chef says, "Sir, I will try the soup myself.
Wait. Where's your spoon?"
The old man says, "Aha! That's the problem."
