Last week, I went to Hangzhou with my family. We travelled there by high-speed train. It took us about 4 hours, and it was so fast and comfortable.
On the first day, we visited the West Lake. The lake was like a big mirror! We walked around the lake and saw many beautiful willow trees. I went boating with my father on the lake. The water was clear, and we could see fish swimming under the boat. The guide told us many old stories about the lake. They were really interesting!
On the second day, we went to Lingyin Temple. The temple was very old and quiet. We saw many big stone statues there. I learned a lot about Chinese history from the guide. We also ate the local food—Dongpo pork and Longjing tea. The pork was sweet and soft, and the tea tasted fresh. On the last day, we went to a tea farm. We picked tea leaves with the farmers. They taught us how to make tea. It was hard work but so much fun! I took many photos to remember the trip.
I love Hangzhou! I travelled there to see beautiful views, learn new things, and try tasty food. I want to go there again someday!

Last Labour Day holiday, I went to Xiamen with my best friend. We got up early and took a high-speed train there, the trip took us about 3 hours, and we enjoyed the soft wind and nice views outside the window all the way.
On the first day, we visited Gulangyu Island. We walked along the quiet little roads with all kinds of pretty old houses, and tried many sweet local snacks. We also watched the sunrise by the seaside the next early morning, the golden sunshine fell on the sea and it looked so beautiful! On the second day, we went to the Xiamen University campus. We read books in the quiet library for a while, and talked with some college students about their interesting school life. We also learned to make cute small clay crafts in a little workshop near the campus.
I love this trip so much! I got to see the lovely sea views, tried lots of delicious food, and I also felt relaxed and happy staying with my friend the whole time. I hope I can visit this warm city again soon!
