Recently, a well - known magazine conducted a survey among people around 50 years old in the city. The question was “What has helped you most in your life?” The results are as follows: 28% of them think it is “being kind - hearted and helpful”; 33% believe “choosing a proper job” is the most helpful; 42% say “doing exercise regularly” has been of great help; and 83% consider “working hard at school” as the most important.
In my opinion, working hard at school is really crucial. When we study hard, we gain knowledge and skills. These are the foundation for our future development. Just like a building needs a solid foundation, our life also needs the knowledge we acquire at school. It helps us face various challenges in life and pursue our dreams. So, students should value their study time and work hard.
