Animals do different things in different seasons. They know when to eat, when to sleep, and when to travel.
In spring, animals wake up from their long sleep. Bears come out of their caves. Birds fly back from warm places. They look for food and build homes.
In summer, it's hot and sunny. Animals are very busy. Squirrels(松鼠) run around and play. They eat lots of nuts and berries. Frogs croak(呱呱叫) by the ponds.
In autumn, the weather gets cool. Some birds fly to warm places. They travel very far, sometimes thousands of kilometres! This is called migration. Other animals, like bears and hedgehogs(刺猬), eat a lot of food. They get fat for winter.
In winter, it's cold and snowy. Many animals sleep for a long time. This is called hibernation(冬眠). Bears sleep in their caves. Hedgehogs sleep under leaves. They wake up in spring!
