Community Heroes
Every day, people in our community work hard to keep our community safe, clean, and happy. Let’s meet some of these heroes!
◆ The Cleaner
Ms Li gets up early every morning. She cleans the streets, picks up trash, and sorts recyclables.
◆ The Elevator Technician
Mr Ray has a heavy toolbox. He checks elevators. He makes sure people can go safely up and down.
◆ The Arborist
Dr Ana takes care of trees in the city. She examines their branches and leaves. She protects the trees well.
◆ The Streetlight Maintainer
Mr Ben checks streetlights. He makes sure the lights work properly. His job helps people walk safely at night.
◆ The Baker
Baker Jake gets up early to bake fresh bread, cakes, and cookies. So people can enjoy their breakfast.
◆ The Delivery Worker
Leo delivers letters and packages, no matter whether it’s hot or cold, rainy or snowy.
These people are true heroes in our community. They help in special ways.
