My name is Oliver. I am in Class 4. Today,
I am on duty.
I come to school early. I
clean the desks and chairs.
My friends Nick and Kate are
on duty too. Nick cleans the windows and
Kate cleans the blackboard.
In class, I put up my hand to speak.
I listen to the teachers. When I don't
understand, I say "Excuse me?"
Before lunch, I hand out spoons. Nick
hands out plates. All my classmates eat
quietly and we all clean our desks and
chairs by ourselves.
After lunch, I put
back the books in the
class library. I water the
plants.
After school, I close
the windows. I turn off
the lights and the fans too.
It's time to go home.
I am happy to be a helper
in the class today!
