According to studies, women should drink at least 2.7 litres of water per day and men should drink 3.7 litres of water per day. If we exercise, we will lose water. So if we do some exercise, we need to drink more water. We should drink water before, during, and after our workouts. One more thing we should remember is that we'd better drink warm water instead of iced water.
