二、阅读理解。
Blue Sky Rescue(蓝天救援队) from northern China, was very sad when the team couldn't save an 84-year-old woman in a broken building in Mandalay on Thursday afternoon. They had tried for three days to help her. Zhang has been doing rescue work for 17 years and said this was the most difficult job he had ever done.
More than 140 hours after the earthquake, hundreds of Chinese rescuers were still working hard in the very hot weather (over $40°\mathrm{C}$). They didn't sleep much because they wanted to help as many people as possible. One man said the rescuers gave him hope to keep living.
Many local people were thankful for the help. A young woman whose father works for a Chinese factory said, "Thank you for coming to help us." Some other people also came to say thank you to the Chinese team.
The weather was very hot and conditions(条件) were difficult, but the rescuers wouldn't stop. They kept hoping to find more survivors(幸存者) and helped Myanmar get over this terrible earthquake. Their hard work and kind hearts were bringing hope to many people who lost their homes. They started to work again just now.
