"Colour is a silent salesperson," said Elyria Kemp. Kemp is following colour trends (趋势) in business. According to Kemp, when people make an evaluation (评估) of a product, usually they do this within 90 seconds or less. Besides, more than half of their first evaluation is based on colour alone. That's why so many companies are researching their colour choices. They are spending thousands of dollars on the research, too. Coca-Cola's red colour dates back more than 100 years. The soft drink was shipped in barrels painted red. The success of Tiffany & Co. is that the company's jewellery (珠宝) is connected to its blue colour.
