A farm near my home
My name is Jim. I live in a small and quiet town, and there is a big farm near my home. The farmers are my good friends. They grow many vegetables like carrots, tomatoes and potatoes. There are also some animals on the farm—cows, pigs, horses and chickens. But the farmers don't use the animals to do farm work. They use a big green tractor.
I often visit my friends on the farm at weekends. I love watching the animals eat and walk around. Sometimes I help the farmers feed the chickens. I also enjoy walking and reading on the farm because the air is so fresh and clean.
Behind the farmhouse, there is a small pond with many fish in it. I often go fishing there on Saturday afternoons. It's so much fun! I love spending time on the farm.
