wind was blowing. My boat was rolling around in the water. All I could do was hold on and hope that the storm would stop.
Reporter: But it didn't stop, did it?
James: No, it didn't. The storm was very strong. My boat started to sink. And then I found myself lying on a beach of a small island.
Reporter: Wow! So what did you do?
James: Well, I looked for water first. I knew that I must have water to stay alive. I followed a stream into the mountains. The water was fresh, so I could drink it.
Reporter: Excellent. And what did you do after that?
James: I made a small house to sleep in. I took some sticks and leaves from trees and made a small room. Then I tried to make a fire. It was very difficult. It took me a few days before I could do it.
Reporter: And how did you get your food?
James: I ate fruit from trees and some small insects. After around one month on the island, I caught a fish in the sea. That was great!
Reporter: James, you did an amazing job. How do you feel to be home?
James: I'm so happy! The life on that island was hard but I'll never forget my experience there.
